An animation centered around the birth of cinema, exploring the visual phenomenon that a series of individual still pictures set into motion creates the illusion of movement - a concept termed Persistence of Vision. This is what makes animation possible!
Most of the animation was done in Adobe After Effects, the flourishes during the opening sequence were animated using Adobe Flash. The running horse sequence was created in Adobe Illustrator and the Zoetrope was designed and animated in Cinema 4D. The Audio design was done using Adobe Audition.
